While hot air ballooning may seem quaint and old fashioned as it dates back to 1783, the Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning is going high tech by enabling attendees to receive the latest Festival news and schedule updates via their cell phones throughout the Festival weekend. This text service will be available through most cellular carriers. AT&T Wireless customers can receive bonus text message alerts each day for added savings on food or merchandise on site during the Festival.
