Quick Chek CEO, Dean Durling, and festival executive producer, Howard Freeman, traveled to the State House in Trenton on May 27 to present New Jersey Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno with the first tickets to this year’s 29th annual Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning in Association with PNC.

The annual three day festival, July 29-30-31 at Solberg Airport in Readington in Hunterdon County, is the largest summertime hot air balloon and music festival in North America and has been named as one of the Top 100 events in all of North America for 2011.

Featuring the awe-inspiring spectacle of twice daily mass ascensions of up to 125 hot air balloons from around the world, the Festival is the state’s single largest event, attracting upwards of 175,000 people and worldwide media coverage, and has a significant impact on the state’s travel and tourism and local economies.
